When are people going to realize that billionaires have no moral code and no ethics. The only thing they want is more money and they will do literally anything to get it, even if they destroy the world.

Not really. Tim Sweeney would sell his grandmother to appear cool / anti-establishment / consumer friendly - while trying everything to establish Epic Store as a monopoly. Once he achieves that, he would lick boots just like the others.
Totally, he wants to be in complete control but since he isn’t, he’s taking shots at people kissing the ring. Were he in control, he’d kiss the ring and beg for regulations on his competitors and not himself.

If they’re willing to say and do anything to convince government to advantage large corporations at the expense of workers and consumers I don’t think they’re “pretending” to be republicans.
I reckon we will see the biggest transfer of wealth ever during trumps second term. They are all lining up for the big one. I see them trying to undo Labor laws and deregulate across the board.
I suspect they will push RTO even harder and try to drive down wages but specifically to screw over software developers currently on decent wages firing the lower paid ones, with CEOs claiming AI can do it while manufacturing the narrative that its the new normal 🙄.
You’d be surprised to hear that most software devs i talk to think the benefits of ai are overrated. The problem is the bubble keeps growing and growing.

We’re getting it shoved down our throats too. We get asked to use ai to enhance things… that no one wanted fixed with ai.
I added some more words to clarify, I meant the CEOs will claim it is replacing the developers. I’m a dev myself, we know it has its uses and its very obvious limitations.
Yes they just slap Ai in the marketing and scale up the price.

Kids there days would say Fortnite is very Epic… but for me UT2004 was the last game they made that deserved the title Epic/Unreal.
UT2K4 was bloody fantastic. It, and Q3 are two of my absolute all time favourites.
