Hopefully it doesn’t suddenly evolve inside that glass.

121·3 days agoI didn’t know there was an English equivalent of “да нет, наверное”.
Why can’t they just assign order ID number like every other normal food service business?
I honestly expected better from that author than mixing up “your” and “you’re”.

1·5 days agoApple has its own can of worms, but privacy usually isn’t the issue. At least in comparison to other tech giants.
I think that’s “pissed in”, which is different.

2·6 days agoAs I said, those are all 1st party applications. I don’t see it anywhere being OS-wide. And what’s “smartlook”? Do you mean Spotlight? I haven’t seen any AI in Spotlight, but I also haven’t installed (the janky) Tahoe yet.

32·6 days agoOn MacOS, at least for now, AI isn’t prominent at all. I’ve been using an M4 Air for a month before I remembered that Apple Intelligence was a thing and had to google how to use it. So far it only seems to be partially available in 1st party Apple apps which I don’t use anyway.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Windows Games’ Compatibility on Linux Is at an All-Time HighEnglish
4·6 days agoFor every game that breaks compatibility due to anti-cheat there’s 100s more new games that don’t have it and probably run on Linux just fine. So on average, the compatibility always goes up.

4·7 days agoThere’s usually not enough interesting things happening on the screen to maintain a child’s attention, it’s mostly just conversations. They might look at the screen occasionally but are unlikely to pay much attention.

5·11 days agoI mean, just because it happens fast or in an unnoticeable way doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. If somebody vaporized themselves instantly it’s still suicide. Sure, people would probably accept the fact that their original is being killed for convenience, but the fact stays.

But I haven’t finished the first one yet…
It’s in my backlog since the early 2000s.
