Call me a pessimist but 5g is already stupid. I’m using a device that can already reach 4g lte speeds of 500 mbps using mobile data, and empty my entire data plan in less than 15 min if I were downloading a file at those speeds. Why do need speeds faster that gigabit on a device whose data plan won’t allow anyone to benefit from this faster technology? I get that this might give each tower higher bandwidth and thus allow for higher bandwidth and bigger data caps, but I’ve had 5g for half a decade now and it seems like nothing has changed.
640k should be enough for anyone too
Yea, we spent so much money on this tech and it was sold as big benefit to the wage slave but I don’t see any tangible benefit from it.
The only thing I see is some smug clwon trying to explain to me how it is so great for me or accuse me of being a conspiracy theorist becuase I ask questions about benefit of 5g.
Anyway, if corpos deployed this shit on their own it would be one thing but feds giving them money for shit without taking equity position is straight 🤡 capitalism.
Those 5g towers are fucking eye sore tho…
