TLDR: Big balance pass to make weapons more effective and enemies weaker to a degree coming Sept 17
How about just buff all the guns because WERE FIGHTING FICTIONAL BUGS AND ROBOTS NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT BALANCE WE JUST WANT TO BLOW SHIT UP! God damn. It’s not like the game is a competitive online PVP game that needs balance updates twice a month. We’re fighting space bugs for fucks sake. I’m glad they’re buffing stuff but the nerfs were already so brutal I haven’t played the game in over a month.
Yeah I haven’t been playing much at all since the last nerf. The breaker incendiary is just so lame now. Played again last night and it just feels like I’m shooting peas while ragdolling everywhere.
Yeah, I stopped playing after they added 50% more downtime to the quasar cannon for “balance” because it was too effective at dealing with bugs. You know, too effective, like how a weapon would be designed to perform.
But the bug that keeps 4 chargers on us at all times? That’s fine. That gets no attention.
Such brain dead devs that had everything but pissed it away with bad management decisions and even worse gameplay design ideas.
The amount of idiots who posted on that is insane.
I doubt many of them even play the game

Im pretty sure they confirmed the commando being able to one shot factories as a bug when the commando was released, unfortunately

Damn, it was the one thing I always carried in bot missions. It almost felt like a necessary weapon to work around the stupidly insane amount of ragdolling you otherwise had to deal with from getting too close to some bases.
Also it’s the only way I managed to do the 6 minute achievement, we dropped, got weapon, I could blast like 6 spawners from my landing area and then we got the fuck out lol

Our design team led by our Chief Creative Officer, Johan Pilestedt, analyzes player feedback, internal and external playtests, gameplay data, and the original design goals for each weapon and stratagem. This process allows us to identify discrepancies—such as weapons that are underperforming or overperforming—and make precise adjustments.
God fucking dammit. They still have not learned their lesson. People do not want nerfs to whatever they deem are “overperforming” weapons.
I am happy with nerfs to avoid power creep as long as things are generally getting buffs.
I don’t want to get into a situation where everything needs to keep getting blanket buffed for balance because they find imbalances and going up is the only option.
I see your point, but I can’t think of a single thing that is so OP right now it needs a nerf. Even the Incendiary Breaker was good before the nerf, but not crazy strong where it made other guns obsolete. I was still running the Scorcher or Blitzer before more often than not. So just because a gun is popular doesn’t mean it needs to be gutted.
Just buff the auto cannon already!
I tried to like it, man, I really tried. It just feels like the first game in 3D, I got bored fast.
