Why was this article posted today? The article clearly states it happened the day before Thanksgiving. The preliminary investigation produced only the obvious, that everyone already knew, that the fire killed the passengers and somehow that’s newsworthy? If it wasn’t a Tesla this article wouldn’t exist at all, and we all know that.

Not directed at OP, directed at the damned news.

Did it provide any new info? We already knew the battery caught fire, because, the fire. And that’s all the article really mentions.

The article also fails to give any context to put things into perspective, like good reporting should. Especially when it’s not breaking news. It doesn’t give any sort of context of how many car fires happen in general, or the number of drunk driving fatalities. It doesn’t give any context at all, just creates a rage bait headline. Very successfully I might add.

Quite the contrary, because of the fascist running the company. But dipshits like you don’t care.

You claimed I had pride in owning it. A vehicle purchased 6 years ago, when there were no real viable EV alternatives below $80k and well before the current extreme bullshit from Musk, and that I’ve clearly commented already with the opposite attitude.

It’s not your first incorrect assumption I’m sure. But it’s clear from your attitude in comments that you feel like you’re superior to others and seem to have a black and white view of things when reality is anything but black and white. So go ahead and live in your little fantasy world, at least they know you there.
