I can’t help but think he is being set-up to be the final antagonist though, with a power struggle between him and Jinshi for the throne.
Don’t we all. But Lihua and Gyokuyou are also voiced by two of my fav seiyuu (Ishikawa Yui and Tanezaki Atsumi, repsectively), and they are indeed very well endowed.
This episode Jinshi says he is the emperor’s brother, but wasn’t it implied in the first season that he was concubine Ah-Duo’s son and swapped at birth (or at least it was Maomao’s theory)? We’ll probably have more information in the next episode looking at its title.
