Kubuntu. It’s solid and similar enough to Windows UI-wise. Everyone should start there and later people can explore other options if they want.

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
