There’s like over a hundred novels to choose from, some of them are pretty decent.
My guess is he’s going to do Gaunt’s Ghost by Dan Abnett. It’s good enough to be a stand alone series even if you don’t know much about the 40k universe.
It’s not like Warhammer has a lot of high quality source material to adapt.
