Can’t wait for TR4Ns and watch the republicans lose their shit.
There’s so much potential in the Tron universe, I don’t mind them entering new characters and stories. So long as the story strong and feels like it’s totally in the Tron universe, I’ll take it.
Unfortunately it looks like a soft reboot rather than a continuation. I would have liked to see more of a direct sequel. I’ll still give it a shot.
Given where things left off, a sequel would have the same feeling as the Star Wars sequels. “Somehow Master Control returned.” I’d be more for a retelling of the original with a tighter script - I mean it wasn’t the best in plot, dialogue, or continuity, it was just so different that it blew us away back then. The graphics is the easy part.
If there isn’t a scene where a nerd injects steroids into his ass calling it TR3N is cultural appropriation 😤
The first page of google results for “tren” are all about the steroid trenbolone.
Oh wow, I hadn’t even seen any news that another one was coming - that is fantastic to hear!
