Absolutely. In 2015 Russia flew one of its fighters into Turkish airspace, then 17 seconds later Türkiye shot it down. And so they became friends. Russia’s still sending them anti-air systems and smuggling oil out via them to this day. Be like Türkiye. All this careful “escalation management” stuff is just being received as big signals “I’m a bitch, I can be pushed around, I’m scared of confrontation.”
