the korean peninsula existed during the 1930s, right? this is just some appeasement bullshit, except instead of hoping for hitler’s appetites to wane they seem to hope krasnov has a heart attack on the toilet while simultaneously ragetweeting, eating a day old bucket of kfc and blasting a dook that later wins a nobel peace prize. (hereafter removing the shame from elvis’ sandwich legacy)

I can imagine somewhere a RAM driving, gun toting MAGA, eating nothing but ‘woke’ tofu through great depression conditions and blaming it on the left.

Soybean futures retreated to around $10.40 per bushel, pressured by uncertainty over Chinese demand. In anticipation of a potentially prolonged trade dispute, China is building a record-high soybean inventory, which is curbing its purchasing intentions for new US soybeans for the 2025/26 marketing year. Chinese soybean imports rose to 1.15 million tons in the first two weeks of September, up 140,000 tons from the prior period and 260,000 tons above the three-year average, but the majority of these imports came from Brazil.

We export, the facilities to process soy into tofu and other products probably don’t have capacity to deal with the excess.

Once again showing that, unlike what trump thinks, economy isn’t as simple as “one number go down so other number go up”

Chances are, they’ll probably just destroy it all and blame someone else for the problem.

    Except, no.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled their roadmap to 2030 plan which includes an expansion for the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America in Ellabell.

This announcement comes just two weeks after Homeland Security raided the Hyundai megasite in what the agency called the largest single-site enforcement operation in its history.

According to a release by Hyundai Motor Company, phase 2 of the expansion is set to add production capacity of 200,000 units by 2028 - bringing total production capacity to 500,000 cars a year. The expansion will include a $2.7 billion investment and will create 3,000 new jobs.

Unfortunately, gotta wonder how that all stacks up against bullying many countries into upping their %GDP devoted to defense, given that weapons are the US’s primary export.

Thanks people, we really needed more weapons in the world /s

If you don’t have at least a portion of your portfolio divested from the US, you are no longer properly diversified.
