got some questions: Why isn’t Europe all in on the SAMP/T Mamba? Why isn’t it mass procuring it over patriot and why isn’t Ukraine flooded by it?

    Speculation: it’s probably easier to convince a legislature to appropriate money for something you’ve already been buying for a decade than for something you’ve never bought and used before.

      Articles say that the SAMP/T got its trial by fire recently, and is considered battle proven since march.

      It is cheaper than patriot, but wasn’t recognized for the european sky shield initiative. France and Italy are thereby pissed and don’t take part 😂

      Germany needs to upgrade all the older patriots to new standards and later double the amount. I can see that swapping to a new system might not be economical, but there must be clever solutions that include european defense industry, especially since mamba is cheaper.
