We wanted to give everyone a heads-up since after we defederate, numerous account actions and deletions will NOT update on the defederated instance due to coding limitations in lemmy. This includes:

-Post edits and deletions

-Account edits (bio, profile picture, display name)

-Account deletions

In the future this will likely be fixed, but due to the dev work required it’s not feasible to change in the short term. If you have any account or post changes you want to make, please do so before 4/27 8:30pm Moscow Time, or when this post is 24hrs old.

Thanks to everyone who provided their feedback. We will continue to fight transphobia and reactionary rhetoric on this instance for the safety of our users red-fist

      It became blatantly obvious what you were doing after like the third comment, I’ve always warned dipshit trolls who think this is twitter or a youtube comment section

      Protip, your dead giveaway was your over-the-top “concern” for “open-mindedness” and “varying opinions”…forum engineering nerds don’t express views like that while simultaneously being too dense to recognize the obvious bigotry that’s undermining the forum experiment

      If federation was at the forefront of your mind you would’ve immediately advocated for banning the transphobes that led to defederation, instead you played dumb and tipped your hand
