Graphics are good though.

I use Book Reader (it’s on F-Droid) for my phone, which works well enough… don’t know how it performs on a tablet or if it has the features you’re looking for.
I would wholeheartedly recommend a dedicated e-reader with E-Ink display for more ‘serious’ reading (I have a Tolino for the evenings/bed. Depending on where you are located you could also look into PocketBooks or Kobos… just make sure they’re not chaining you to a closed ecosystem like Kindles).
Well, but that’s not it…
Hey, thanks for your post. I’m not from the US and the bit about the hostages was unknown to me.
Sounds like a parallel to what was going on with the military help for Ukraine just now…
Like I feel about most (if not all things): different levels of severe confusion
That’s pretty cool.
A Brutus Salad you say? Intriguing…
How is this not a Rickroll?
Mind blown!
Oh, sorry to hear that. DS9 gets pretty good later on - especially the “middle” is great, testing out the limits of the world/starfleet ethics. I think it’s my favorite trek… (second being TNG, watched that growing up). Maybe give DS9 another chance and just jump in somewhere after Season 1…
TBH I was pleasantly surprised by SNW as well. I had written off the newer series after trying to like DSC for like 2.5 seasons…
It’s still not great, SNW pales in comparison to TOS for example (especially those episodes that take direct ‘inspiration’), but it’s decent enough to watch. Guess I’m just a Old Trek Geezer or whatever.
LOW is a different genre IMHO, loved almost every episode. But of course you have to know your Trek to appreciate the series.
Yup, I’ve been thinking along those lines as well. I can’t believe that every manufacturer is doing their own standards again…
Thanks! Helpful for me, I’m really not into trailers blasting from my speakers when I browse (on my 360 lol).
Courses on picking up women? Avoid!
Expression in the last panel is perfect.
So I wil(l) welcome us all!
It would blow my mind to have Wil on Lemmy. I bet he’d be fun and all around cool.
I can’t believe these are the times we live in. The services of the Internet Archive are invaluable for scholars and students alike. No library can afford all the printed books/journals or licenses needed for an adequate approach to most topics. And to be honest, shadow libraries are also much needed when publishers lock away vital knowledge (which was often gained through support from public grants).
This seems just another example of how capitalism will bring about the downfall of our civilization as it hinders the progress of science.
Thank you.
