Be not afraid.
Canadian, sysadmin, trans rights are human rights, puncha-the-nazis, cats are pretty great, GNU Terry Pratchett.
Be not afraid.
Look into Sawyer water filters. Much easier to use than lifestraws, last longer. Pressure instead of suction.

I think I’ll probably just avoid staying in a zone for too long rather than attempting to tangle with it… dang. Genuinely terrifying.
That could end up whiplashing as the administration passes between US factions, no?

So mad at them for cancelling that. It was a bright spot in a bleak landscape at the time.
“Hey let’s make a game for nerds and ignore the OS with a dramatically higher uptake among nerds”
Oh, that sucks. I hadn’t heard about that cancellation. Still, SpaceX set an unreasonable timeline and expectations of the client, and that should have consequences.
I’ve really come around to the Forsaken Airfield. The little cave on the lake under the cabin kinda ended up meaning a lot to me. It’s close to game and has good lines of sight. You need to put down trails on the ice to deal with the fog. There’s a crafting bench and forge near enough to be useful with a day hike. Once you’ve looted the region, it’s pretty nice.
The other cave on the lake would also work but it’s less central, but is closer to the zone transition to ZoC.
Monolith Lake is also a high point for me, and more useful now that there’s a bunker with a crafting bench in HRV. It just feels like a nice place to be. Good food security. I wish ice fishing were more viable in Interloper. Maybe with a snow shelter.
They said no IT.
Metal grids and motors are worth their weight in gold. Hydrogen thrusters are vanishingly rare, that’s where I’m bottlenecked at the moment.
yeah, I haven’t had issues getting a webcam to work in years, just plug and go
That would be a very interesting virus.
I really thought Harbour Air would be first.
I’ve been using rspamd for a while. It may be extensible to do token based classification like you want but it may take some work.
I think it might be. Loom at the ovals painted on thr concrete. The rear of the plane is in the same spot but the tip is way forward.
Yeah, I’d be pissed about that.
The place next door just got rebuilt as a fourplex, each unit of which is going for 1.6 million dollars. The mortgage would be $8k/month. I and my partner have no kids, no car, and both have solid incomes in union jobs. Our current rent is a hair under $1k/mo because we’ve been in this place awhile.
That mortgage plus taxes, utilities, would still be almost all our income. It’s ridiculous.
I’m confused by the EV charger thing in that. Are they complaining that money was spent by the condo board that didn’t personally benefit them, or that it was installed without any notification to the building owners?
Crazy. I believe it. Maybe it’s some combination of overpressure and sudden vacuum. Love your description, thanks for the effort.
Someone tested that, but I can’t find the video. They found that if you do X amount of ice, you get Y amount of hydrogen and Z amount of oxygen, or Y2 hydrogen or Z2 oxygen if you don’t have storage.
So none of the ice gets wasted - it converts to either oxygen or hydrogen or both.
