I really wish I could buy stuff with the quality of old appliances but the efficiency of new ones. The speed Queen for instance uses tons of water and is apparently pretty harsh on your clothes. My parents have a 50 year old deep freeze that works great, but I plugged in a kill-a-watt and it uses 3x the energy of my newer upright version, meaning the energy savings pay to replace it within a few years.

There’s a particularly horrifying story from a local dairy farm where a worker
climbed into some kind of mixer to unclog it, didn’t lock it out, and for some reason it was controllable via WiFi and the boss decided the mixer should be running.
Guy was like 30 with a small kids and his own farm, but had to work at this shitty dairy to supplement his income. Big farm in the area bought out his whole place within a few months of him passing.

Dealing with the same thing up here in Canada with canola farmers. Price peaked at $750/tonne in mid summer before the Chinese tariffs kicked in, it’s down to $600 and still dropping. It’s extremely funny to hear them get mad and demand the liberals drop all tariffs on Chinese EVs, even if they’re only saying it because they’re losing money. (I’ll take a byd though)

I was at one just outside the Marrow and I kept getting to the stage where there’s a Skarr Stalker and a Spear Skarr and could not get past it, if there’s another set of enemies after those two I’ll be crushed lol. I eventually gave up after looping at it more than I did for anything in my recent Hollow Knight playthrough, and found a different path to progress down for now.
My bets on cracked or rubbed through wire, hopefully it’s not too buried since it’s a Jeep? I’ve given up before and also just run a new wire along the original wiring harness, but don’t love doing that because if one wire is junk, that area is probably gonna cause issues in the other wires eventually.

they were cool, now they are nearly as reactionary as their non-coop counterparts, because (at least here) they are consumer co-ops, not worker co-ops. the local farmers co-op here is heavily involved in union busting in it’s local stores and at their big oil refinery, and they are fully entrenched in the oil and gas industry, lobbying against renewable energy to our local governments.
