Containers are a great way run applications.
Docker is a piece of garbage by a company way too far down the enshittification slide.
I worked with multi monitor in Visual Studio a decade ago. Jetbrains products are a joke and always will be
I would assume any app can read it. Just needs to request the permission http://androidpermissions.com/permission/com.google.android.providers.gsf.permission.READ_GSERVICES
I prefer having a convenient pull mechanism that I can trigger from a workstation in the lab network. I maintain the setup with Ansible
That sounds valid. I was thinking about the fact that most carbon credits are generated from deforestation reduction projects that renew yearly.
I actually ran into a scenario where I wanted HDR on a Linux desktop only days after writing this. It was a stupid comment
Wow. Photo evidence!
Given the data points you made up, I feel it’s safe to assume that this plateau will now be a 10 year stretch
The great thing about blanket terms like “AI” is that you can slap it on everything.
Climate was only cool while you could buy fake carbon credits to make up lies about responsible computing at scale. Now we save the world with AI once again. Next year, compute on mars, true planetary scale! Cloud? We’re doing Starsystem now!
If I learned one thing from TunnelVision, it’s how blindly people are operating right now. If you open a VPN tunnel, also ensure traffic is actually routed through it, especially if you don’t control the network. Adding a tunnel on top of the insecure network also does not protect your client from other malicious clients on that network. I feel like people have seen one too many VPN snake oil salesman on social media.
Knowing your gender is highly required? 😂
It is your content. But SE specifically only accepts CC licensed content, which makes you right.
I feel like a lot of people don’t understand the most basic things about the site. Any user with enough internet points can see deleted posts.
I honestly doubt that you have full control over that
Definitely. I can just write a log file myself, change the creation date in the filesystem if I have to. There are websites that generate images of DM conversations on a myriad of platforms online. Manipulation of these artifacts is beyond trivial
Only freaks have AM/PM in their time system.
