Yet this place is very different from reddit no?
This reply feels awfully like a reddit comment
No and No (i can’t count)
Posted it already
I need a translation
Edit: never mind it’s just spam
Yes. Yes i sure do
Nah if anyone has to feel guilty it’s the dude who said he was gonna do something but tgen didn’t do it
Shit i forgot… Aight gimme 2 hours, then im on the train, with my laptop. Imma make it then. Gonna set a reminder too
Don’t get your hopes up that it’s gonna be good tho
If no one else does it, im gonna make a meme out of this like 13 hours from now
Oh you don’t understand how much reward i get on tiktok for proving my point so much that i get blocked.
It brings me unfathomable joy
surprisingly it didn’t. however about 2 hours later, after upgrading aur packages my aur helper broke
no thats the thing, steam works without a problem. it is only when i do it NOT through steam where i get issues.
but i play mainly on windows anyway, i just wanted to try it out a bit out of boredom and got surprisingly good results.
i just wait how the windows kernel restrictions influence kernel level anti cheat, and depending on the result i may switch to full linux again if kernel AC breaks and devs are forced to use “normal” AC again
thanks. will consider this next time
Yeah it’s just games🤷 if push comes to shive i can just reinstall 'em i was just confused by the difference in behaviour depending wether the system or steam mounts it
This could very well be the anwser. there are in fact c: and z: in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/0/pfx/dosdevices
although i couldn’t find an indicator that those are actually in use when launching a game through steam
Dos and Ubuntu
No it definitely is, the questions and comments here get respectful and goodwilled replies (most of the time that is) while on reddit i would get 3 comments degrading me for my choices 1 that says im stupid and should do my research 2 trolls 1 actual answer to my question and ankther person telling me that they’re better cause they know the answer. The “redditor cliché” is not so much a cliché as it is an actual representation. At least in my experience.
In short this place is not nearly as toxic as reddit is
