LadyCajAsca [she/her, comrade/them]

Profile Picture from: https://x.com/haoziddd/status/1910729402331136031 (I know, just use a nitter instance)

Banner from: Some PhilStar Picture of UPLB (PH) protests on Sep21 I can’t find the link to.

My theme song: https://youtu.be/OdQ1Gy4xy5s (FDJ by IFA Wartburg ft. Kasane Teto)

A comrade of the East, I come with gifts and a feast! A toast to the end of capitalism.

Anyways, yeah, I’m Caj. Just call me Caj, really. I’m that infuriating ‘leftist’ who can’t define herself of who she even is, much less what brand of anarchism/marxism I follow. I have read from both, though.

This doesn’t mean I don’t have positions, but I tend to err on the past, as I have less knowledge of it than I used to. Anyway here’s Marx:

“Workers of the world, unite!” and “Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.”

— Karl Marx, Communist Manifesto y Theses on Feuerbach, 1848 y 1845, respectively.

  • This reminds me of the Philippines and our own conditions…

While I respect the CPP-NPA-NDFP’s goals, it has come down to mass legal orgs like KMU, Akbayan, Makabayan and etc. to push for the organzing and propaganda part of building revolutions. The NPA is almost seen as forbidden to praise (makes sense, NTF-ELCAC and Anti-Terror Law exist to make our lives as leftists hard) and the NPA itself had grown smaller, as more educated and leftist people (the trend unfortunately has been that comprador dynasty politicans influence the people in their own respective territories but this is less effective on more developed cities due to education, and nowadays, collective class consciousness building by the mass left orgs) either stay legal with building revolution for now, or leave the country for a better life (this is the OFW phenomenon, for people who think of their families, their livelihoods more than activism, which is seen as dangerous, for good reason)

I’d say that keeping this dichotomy will help so that people will actually be deprogrammed out of their anti-communist mindset while having a small but armed movement to keep the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) in check.

Though, the immediate goals right now are to corruption and pork barrel scams, if we can win more, then we can dismantle NTF-ELCAC next, as we build dual power with the mass orgs constantly fighting for the people.
