Exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those apps are using payment processors outside the EU to circumvent this. So assuming those apps are not warning the users for “no refunds”, who else is gonna give some kind of warning?

I’m a EU citizen residing outside the EU, so my knowledge on this is not exactly up to date.

The App Store has, for me, been a good experience when it comes to refunds (the right to withdrawal for digital purchases in the EU). They do comply, no questions asked.

Not sure any of that applies when you give some wildcard company outside the EU your payment information for some random in-app purchase.

That’s the main reason I stopped streaming all those new shows. They get canceled with some half-open ending, and it feels like a slap in the face.

Cookie AutoDelete hasn’t been updated for 2+ years and, in my experience, is buggy in combination with containers.

Also, while it did delete cookies, it did not delete certain data in the user’s profile folder, still exposing all visited sites (while using Firefox’s own history tools does delete this data normally.)

At least the butter might come in handy (or by other limbs).

Hmm, I have the Xiaomi Home app installed but never seen any ads. Maybe because my DNS is blocking certain ad-servers? I use the app because we have an air purifier and robot vacuum from them. They work perfectly fine without the app too, but sometimes it’s very convenient to remotely control them.
