I would rather protesters go after the Tesla cars if they were out to be sold through retail rather then after someones expensive personal purchase. It would make more sense since you’d be hurting the company and none of the innocent costumers in the middle of it. While I can’t say whether i’m for Elon musk, I do think that civilians should be left out of explosions which risk happening from setting the cars on fire, and fire can spread.

Setting random tesla’s on fire have a risk of spreading to other peoples cars if no one tries to set out the fire and just leaves it. It can end up hurting minorities in the process that you would think they were trying to protect.

So i’m not saying that being against elon is wrong, 1st amendment thing, but rather the way sometimes they seem to go about it, and how setting random strangers purchased tesla’s risks hurts more innocent bystanders even beyond just the household that might own the car after purchase, not just costumers the neighbors of the costumers, who may or may not be minorities that they are advocating for. Fire spread if left unattended. Very dangerous, it can affect anyone negativly doesn’t matter who the neighbors are, or their personal beliefs.

Agreed, though I would also argue that destroying property just to make a point is not the way to go. Now show up in mass to protest at the dealership. Cool. Destroying other people’s shit, even if owned by a company, is not cool.

It’s stupid, hurts the cause, and can cause a serious criminal record.

Showing up in a peaceful mass is exactly what they want. Showing them you’re not afraid to destroy things to fix the status quo is what scares them. The time for peaceful protest is over.

But it doesn’t scare them. Nothing has changed. Would you like conservatives to go destroy cars at dealerships in your area because they didn’t like Biden or Harris? You know what you all would be saying if that happened?! Come on, now…

Maybe. But surely i’d rather costumers and bystanders not get caught in the crossfire’s. However, if they are going to do something like this to prove a point, they aren’t targeting the right spaces by going after random peoples Teslas already purchased.

I totally agree that random people’s cars should be left alone. Especially since most EV owners are democrat anyway.

Are they? I seen a good amount of conservatives driving evs. Living off the grid.

Maybe it’s changing. I mean until recently it was liberals who were all about EV’s, living off the grid, going vegan and being hippies. So if conservatives are doing that now, I wonder if liberals are gonna go the opposite way?

Kinda like back in the old days, country music people hated long hair that rock and roll wore. Now every almost every country star guy has long hair. And rockers go short.

But to the point, most conservatives I know just don’t have the money for EV. I would think that even if some conservatives to, I bet most EV owners are liberal.

Wasn’t it just a few years ago that people were blaming conservatives on big gas guzzlers and texas style truck lifestyles?

I’m not saying that conservatives were doing all that going vegan and etc but they were some churches that took Christians to camps and etc, they had evs with TV’s in it they’d watch movies off of the evs power on the way to and from the campsites. Using gas I think rather then solar energy or electric. This was back in the 2010s for sure. Maybe I was thinking of suvs after a quick Google search.

Well eventually everyone is gonna be on the same page. But I’d bet that there are way more liberal EV owners than conservative EV owners. I could def be wrong tho, I didn’t research or anything. Just talking outta my ass
