They’re going to go after the easier targets first and no one will stand up for them. Think racial or ethnic minorities. The majority will think they are mostly safe and well stay quiet.

Yes, I get the point you’re making. But they’re rapidly approaching a situation that’s going to explode. And what they’re doing is going to trigger immigrant communities to find an alternative than trusting a legal process.
The minute an immigrant tries to defend himself violently, the entire country will turn on him. Look how everyone turned on the black community for the riots when the police brutality became insufferable. Immigrants know that no one has their back so they can’t fight back against this.
I am aware. And we’ll see the reaction.
I can think of one American who needs to be deported to Russia.
I know the conservative law and order types would be happy to get rid of any undesirable people (according to their own personal criteria), what they don’t realise is that everyone is likely to be affected by an administrative error. Effectively, justice is handed out by judge Dregg emulating cops not the courts.
