I’ve had a trans friend for years, who for some reason chose “zim” and whatever goes with that as his personal pronouns. He knows I respect him as a human being, and he respects my attitude about not demanding individualized language from others. We get along very well and treat each other as equals, as it should be. When he had a recent mental health crisis my house was where he came for refuge, because he knew it was a safe place. I think walking the walk is more important than talking the talk.
Oh, you’re right - as an expert on neopronouns, I’m probably underestimating my own knowledge and therefore the difficulty of using neopronouns. I should be more patient with you, because you’re still learning.

Well I think you could be a better friend to zim if you tried harder.
