Max has ascended to next level. Unbelievable really considering the level he already showed in the previous years.

We are witnessing greatness for sure. Part of me kind of just wishes he had more… personality? It’s so hard for me to either love him or hate him right now. He kind of just blandly exists, quietly taking poles and wins.

It would be easier to root for him if he wasn’t so boring, and would be more fun to root against him if he was a better antagonist.

Imagine Max dominating like he is, but having the persona and charisma of Zlatan. Love or hate that, you’d probably be entertained.

That is his personality. He is a guy who lives and breaths racing. When he is not racing(or Sim racing), he enjoys time with family and friends. He is just a simple guy from the looks of it. Football equivalent would be like messi. Guys who love their profession but are private about their personal life.

To each their own. I actually like that a lot from Max. The sheer dedication and intensity and him never holding his punches is inspiring honestly. This guy is the embodiment of “if you ain’t first, you’re last” and it’s honestly a sight to behold. There’s plenty of (often fabricated or artififial) drama in F1 right now and I for one hate it. It takes so much attention out of the actual racing. It’s also a bit ironic that Kimi was hailed as a hero with how he treated media and drama while Max gets so much criticism for the same thing. We are witnessing one of the greatest that ever did it, and he’s still destroying everyone, just try to enjoy that instead of the fake AF media personalities most other drivers put on all the time. He’s as real as it gets.

All he cares about is racing, not developing personality.

Sometimes it’s what you need to dominate

In the spots people tend to pay less attention to:

Yuki once again far outpaces Daniel…

What happened to Alpine? Are they the new Haas?

Lewis is not loving this year’s car either, by the looks of things.

Edit: Beaten by a proper rookie. A rookie in a Ferrari, rightly enough, but still.
