I completely disagree. I question people about very basics such as the meaning of the pyramid on the USA dollar bill, money / currency, and they are completely ignorant. They think “13 is an unlucky number”, did the Founding Fathers of the USA think that? I don’t just accept what they say at face value, because people in the USA so often parrot Fox News or parrot memes of social machine systems.
I suggest you study media ecology, the USA education systems have completely overlooked the need to teach people about these coherency problems: “It means misleading information–misplace, irrelevant, fragmented or superficial information–information that creates the illusion of knowing something but which in fact leads one away from knowing.
