I like chewing gum, but Orbit, Winterfresh are all American
There’s a German brand called Forest Gum which produces plastic free chewing gum in equally plastic free packaging. I haven’t tried all flavours but the ones I have were all genuinely very good. Even the plain mint ones stand out. They ship Europe wide and you can buy them at several German grocery shops.
We have something like that in Denmark as well, it’s called True Gum.
Awesome, I’ll get some and compare them. Plastic free chewing gum tastes so much better than the regular stuff.
I tried the lemon variant, it’s quite good. But generally it doesn’t last as long as Chewing PlasticTM.
Chewing gum releases thousands of microplastic particles into your body.
Ohhh nooooo I’m fucked
Stimorol, was originally Danish (go Greenland!) but since 2023 owned by an Italian/Dutch company
Mynthon is finish and manufactured in Slovakia
I love these recommendations! I wish these were available in my country, I really like composition and ingredients of these gums 😍 Now I realized how horrible ingredients Orbit has
There is a French brand called … Hollywood chewing gum
Jenkki, a Finnish brand. This was the first brand to use xylitol in bubble gum!
Probably very rare to see this outside of Finland.
Jenkki hasn’t been Finnish for a while. It’s owned by Cloetta and produced in the Netherlands these days I think.
Perfetti, an italian company, tha I just discovered merged with a dutch company!
Their brands include stimorol, smint and mentos, which are fine I guess. Just checked their website and apparently they also own Trident and V6, maybe something you recognise: https://www.perfettivanmelle.com/our-brands/overview/
My favorite gum is Swedish and made by Flux. It contains fluoride. It’s usually sold in pharmacies in Sweden and you might find it in the other Nordic countries as well as in Germany. I live in the US and have family in Sweden, so every time I visit I take a bunch of Flux gum back to the states.
Woow, thats really cool. I wish they haf those in my country
Edit: my country has something similar (even the name), but not exactly the same
