I found the original Sam Sedar video to be very frustrating. I don’t think Sam Sedar came across as a good debater.
He made a statement, then half the people got up there and agreed with his statement and went off on a tangent that Sam followed. He spent nearly an entire 20 minutes talking about inflation when his premise was “voting for Trump will make the rich richer and the poor poorer”. Halfway through his allotted time they are talking about quantitative easing and money sent to Ukraine and in no way relating this to wealth inequality.
See what they don’t get is that inflation only happens when ordinary people suddenly get money. That’s why trillions in quantitative easing didn’t cause inflation, because all that money went to the banks and corporations (i.e. the rich people.) Suddenly wages go up for the first time in decades and inflation goes wild. Go figure.
