The books are great. I never did watch the show, but everything I have been told leads me to be grateful for that fact.
The GoT books are great! At least they have fleshed out women characters (something LotR books lack), but comparing the GoT show to LotR movies is like comparing a steaming pile of dung to golden apples 😂

Then I’ll feel annoyed at myself and sad for not planning better and being more motivated. In the evening I have dinner at partners friends place, not super keen on going but feel obligated, which will round off my bleh feelings for the day. So that’s my Sunday sorted.
