Rachel Corrie, 1979-2003 (she died 22 years ago today)

Rachel, an American #peace #activist, was killed when Israeli soldiers crushed her with a #bulldozer

She was trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian family’s home in #Rafah by Israeli occupation forces, before they left Gaza and turned it into a giant concentration camp.

Yeah, well, same applies to theocracies.

But what’s your point? Does that make it OK? Are you saying Jewish isn’t an ethnicity?

i’m saying wanting a peaceful homeland isn’t bad. Displacing and killing people is bad.
          conflating the two is bad.

What if wanting a peaceful homeland requires displacing and killing people? Or is that considered “conflating the two” in your eyes?

displacing and killing people is VERY BAD ….
wtf? i’m talking about NOT doing that….
it’s possible to do without killing or displacing people… less so now than it was in the 1940’s, though….

Wanting a homeland by displacing someone else’s homeland and blaming then for not accepting it is exactly the problem. Fuck off, colonizer.

there are many places that are uninhabited, or less populated. there were countries willing to accept them, post holocaust….
i said absolutely jack shit about displacing native populations.
fuck off, edgey teen pretending like they understand anything by just calling everyone a colonizer…
