I have been looking into some stuff and for now the Philips oneblade looks like the most interesting option to me, does someone maybe have experience with it? How long do the blades last? Or are there any other alternatives you would recommend?

I have a oneblade, it came with my multigroom 9000 series but I’ve never used it. The prospect of needing to replace oneblades every so often compared to my trimmers clippers with no such requirement puts me off.

I will consider testing it out for science, particularly if your aim is for wet shave level facial hair length.

I know it’s not an EU rec but there’s this Canadian company called Henson which make a safety razor handle that is more effective due to how it angles the razor blade relative to your skin: https://hensonshaving.com/

      Henson

Seconding Henson (Canadian). I have the titanium one, and god damn it might be the perfect razor. I cannot fault it.

I don’t really wet shave these days but I’m tempted to try one out.

I also got it free with the 9000 and also avoided using it. I gave it a crack six months ago and I find it does a pretty great job of edges, I use it like once or twice a month and I still havent changed the blade with how I’m using it.
