Not at all. It’s a fascinating topic and i really hope they get it to work some day. But fusion and also nuclear energy are often touted as a solution for climate change. Which both very much are not.
If you say “X brings the dream of Y closer” you imply that Y doesn’t exist. I just pointed out that that’s not correct. The BBC article isn’t actually bad but that title is dumb.
We have clean energy already and it’s available today.
