      It’s weird that they don’t want to call them channels. They mention that in the article. Maybe it’s because that would force them to pay more royalties to the folks in each show and movie that gets aired.

      I mean some sort of live component is the way to go, IMHO, but I think in the end it’d looks something like ESPN+, where instead of channels, new episodes premiere with their own livestream and they are treated like events. That way the entire fanbase/audience experiences the show together at the same time, similar to how it used to work with TV.
