    It’s not clear for what reason AT&T was storing customer data in Snowflake, and the spokesperson would not say.

    For its part, Snowflake says it now requires all new customers to use multi-factor authentication.

    Like, not having mfa in the first place was so fucking irresponsible when they store that much data. What the hell is wrong with people?

      AT&T told the SEC it does not believe this incident is likely to materially impact AT&T’s financial condition or results of operations.

      This is part of the problem. They don’t care, and don’t think it will hurt them. Why would they? No one is holding these corporations accountable.
