It was expected. The legal justification for a gag order is to prevent the person from using public statements to influence the trial. Since the trial is over and can no longer be influenced by Trump’s public statements there is little legal justification for curtailing his first amendment rights. Continuing to hide the identities of the jurors should be sufficient to protect them from harassment and retaliation.
