A pardoned Capitol rioter was arrested last weekend for allegedly threatening to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
Court documents obtained by CBS News said Christopher Moynihan was arrested Sunday after saying in text messages that he planned to “eliminate” Jeffries when the top House Democrat spoke at an event in New York City on Monday.
According to a court filing by prosecutors in the New York state criminal case, Moynihan wrote, “Hakeem Jeffries makes a speech in a few days in NYC I cannot allow this terrorist to live.”
Imagine anyone getting this riled up about Hakeem Jeffries, the most milquetoast liberal I can think of.
It makes sense once you understand the conservative mindset: “Anyone who disagrees with me in even the most tepid of ways is a flaming liberal and doesn’t deserve to exist, because I’m so fragile I must be validated in my beliefs at all times.”
Once you recognize that we’re dealing with an entire political party that has actively driven itself insane and become a cult, this sort of thing becomes perfectly expected.

I prefer insurrection because the only people they seemed to be trying to terrorize were people I’m ok with getting terrorized: any politician.
Afaik they didn’t commit any acts of terrorism* against any civilians although I wouldn’t be surprised to be proven wrong on that point.
*Unless we are using dubya’s/trump’s definition of terrorism which is anything
