It may finally be possible to use Graphene on a phone that doesn’t blow. I’m excited. Graphene is great but Pixels have had heating and battery issues for like 4 generations straight and perform objectively worse than any other brand at the same price point. Its also always been ironic that you need to buy a Google device to use one of the most secure operating systems, though I know security doesn’t necessarily equal privacy.
I’ve got a pixel 9 xl (free for some reason, verizon decided to give it to me i guess) and I haven’t had any issues. Beyond hating google, that is. It was a major upgrade to my last POS so i’m looking into graphene now
every time since the galaxy s5 (which I think was exploitable in some way I don’t remember) my verizon branded devices have been locked with no way to unlock the bootloader :(
