I’m halfway through, started a couple days ago and just haven’t had time between work and the Sumo tournament.

Casting was a miss for Skinner I think, and so far I’m not sure if it’s really got anything too it it’s just Skinner and Chalmers chatting about things that happened (that we know from episodes of the Simpsons).

Now, we haven’t got to the good stuff. Chalmers just asked where the term Steamed hams comes from.

Finished. Last 3rd was stronger, but yeah just references to stone cutters and the school uniforms.

The titular moment was alright, but the set construction team apparently didn’t have the budget for a double swing kitchen door so that effect was lost. I was very excited to hear the exchange between Skinner and Mother but it was shown in pantomime with a Chalmers soliloquy overlayed.

Not worth 45 minutes, but they nailed a few of the shots (Skinner flashbacking to nam) in composition.

Art is subjective. I’m glad it exists.

it’s because the guy that made it , made tons of other high effort steamed hams vids that were great. this one is a bit of a miss, but it’s so fucking high effort that it deserves some kind of positive feedback.

To be honest though, it’s too long, and too full of filler. Maybe that’s what “my dinner with andre” was like, but I’m pretty sure I’ll give it a miss if this is what it was like. My favourite is probably the steamed hams if it was a netflix crime documentary

I skimmed it for the steamed hams bits. I can’t believe someone put this kind of time into it.
