Just trash. Many of them aren’t white, just fucking brain dead / religiously indoctrinated / mentally ill.

Not them, but it’s important to be aware that white supremacy is not only limited to white people. As tempting as it is, we trick ourselves by oversimplifying, and it’s just plain tactless to use racial insults (regardless of how one means it, what matters is how other people interpret it).

You can’t be racist towards white people

Why not? Racism isn’t always institutional racism. What else would one call discrimination based on race?

I don’t see the point in redefining racism to always be systemic/institutional. Can you please clarify the benefit for me? (I say redefining, because I haven’t found that definition in dictionaries, popular sources or government sources, nor heard it in person even in socialist circles.)

Power exists throughout society and I don’t believe individuals can be divorced for the systems they form. So it seems to me that limiting the scope of the term ‘racism’ trivialises the important role that individual racial discrimination plays in forming and consolidating systemic racism. How large does a system have to be to create racism? It doesn’t take many people to remove someone’s housing opportunities, income, public safety and other basic essentials.

You’re right, at least you can recycle some trash, these guys are just toxic waste: Useless, harmful and actively making the world a worse place for everyone else.

A lot, if not most, poor white people are good people. Poverty doesn’t make people evil. That is class based propaganda and anyone who believes it has been fooled. The same bullshit logic is used by the authoritarians to dehumanise non-whites, non-Christians etc.

The Trumpist alliance of fascists manipulates people with populist appeals and will use them as foot soldiers. A lot of white people feel alienated by the pace of change around them and that makes then susceptible. Just like the alt-health crowd whose brains were broken by the pandemic. Or the young men who were brought up in digital cages and never learned social skills. The leadership doesn’t give a fuck about those people. They are a means to an end.

Also everyone needs to stop blaming boomers. Most are poor and worked hard all their life for fuck all and many are living out their days in miserable sub-standard aged care. They are being blamed for actions by the people who exploited them for a lifetime.
