I wanted to play Test Drive Unlimited 2 multiplayer with the TDU World mod, but since I’m not one of the lucky few who owned the game back in the day (I was still a teenager when they shut down the game) I have to pirate it. Unfortunately, the tool required to do it while working with TDUWorld, 80_PA (https://github.com/Blaukovitch/80_PA ), doesn’t want to work through Wine as it crashes immediately.

It’s a long shot, but has anyone here used it?

    1. Linux (Wine).

    You need an actual version of Wine 8 and installed the mfc42 lib. For example, via terminal commands (Debian/Ubuntu):

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
winetricks mfc42

    80_PA must run.

    2. Request Unlock code

    Indeed, in the current branch of the 80_PA (2.0) there is no longer need to run it on the target Linux system. It is enough to know the Request Unlock Code to generate the response Unlock Code and paste in to ‘Manual Activation’ window. The Unlock Code can be generated anywhere in this case - the easiest is in the Android version (com.lab_80pa) of the 80_PA SecuROM keygen.
