Had they fabricated/lied about this evidence, it would seem more in-line with this administration’s rhetoric to paint the killer as a liberal extremist (Which fwiw, the president and some politicians have already implied). Perhaps they would have directly referenced transgender rights or other divisive issues which the victim was known for debating about (which WSJ did falsely claim the casings were about. That definitely was misinformation.)
The memes and references in the evidence make me think it’s legit tho, cuz tbh this killer is not their ideal image of an “enemy”.
