They said this was going to create a rift among chuds. I was told I was being a bad leftist for not giving them the benefit of the doubt and seeing their humanity.

It’s going to take a lot more than this. It’s going to take Trump being dead for x number of years that the number of believers dwindles to the diehards that never shared anyone’s reality anyway. And that’s just what it will take for them to stop believing whatever post online isn’t really him like some sort of Q-adjacent afterlife of ghostposting.

Then after that all the other things they’ll have to admit or unlearn. It’s massive. And they are old. So a lot of them will just die and that will be that. But there’s young ones too. They could cling for decades.

And that’s just Trump, assuming there is no-one to take the reigns of his legacy and go with it allowing them to continue without the vague retrospection they might get if their savior dies and their leaderless movement flops about.

        It’s fucking bleak lmao jokerfication

I mean, it objectively has turned some Trump’s supporters against him. I didn’t see anyone was saying there’s been some seismic change.

I will say I think it caused them to lose some juice. All the CHUDs I work with seem less, enthusiastic as of late, they now avoiding talking politics rather than bring it all the fucking time.
