Today’s game is Minecraft Xbox 360 edition. I realized i hadn’t checked in on my world in a while. When i spawned in, there was a black sheep on my front porch. I took some wheat and led him upstairs to the roof and captured him. I’m going to expand the pen, but for now this is where Matheson lives. I feed him daily from my Wheat farm and want to maybe get him some grass on the roof.
He was a bit of a Headache to get up stairs but i eventually got him. he couldnt pathfind his way through the doors for some reason so i had to push him. Once past that though he was somewhat easy get up there.
On my way back down i saw an Ocelot in the area in the screenshot above. which i call my “courtyard”. I fished out of my Garden for some fish and tried to tame it. I spent a good 10 minutes chasing it down too but couldn’t find it. I found another one on a cliff but couldn’t get it to enter the crouch mode. I tried to Trap it in place so it couldn’t escape and i could come back with more fish, but i accidentally broke the block containing it and set it loose.
That’s where i stopped for the night because i was a bit bummed about the ocelot. I also kind of realized with this world i’m losing steam on it. I’m at the point where i can take on the stronghold, i just need some end pearls, but damn. I see like no Endermen and i think child me would be disappointed at my lack of creativity when it comes to building. Maybe i should take a page out of child me’s book and build a Harbor Freight or something. Maybe that will get the engine going again.
Legacy Minecraft has such a charm to it that modern versions fail to capture imo
I’m not sure if it’s nostalgia or what, but i feel like it encourages me to use a lot more of my imagination to make things
