I mean the Republican party is already onboard with child labor and raping children. Should we be surprised that they also want to beat them?

The troubled teen school I was sent to in the mid naughts had and has parents sign a form which releases them from liability if a kid gets injured. They’ve beaten the shit out of kids for things like asking to go to the bathroom, or having religious amulets.

Fuck these fascists. Anyone vile enough to use their position of authority to enact violence against children should be thrown into a cold cell. Fuck anyone enabling this.

Pssst. All conservatives are enabling this type of behavior. Because all conservatives are traitors to the U.S.A. and a danger to its children.

    They really love children huh.

Hey Q-anon, remember that time you thought kids were being harmed and you were so angry that you invaded pizza places and took hostages in random places across America? Hello? You guys still out there?

Violence begets violence. Getting beat as a child didn’t make me peaceful in any way. Just what you would expect from some useless sports dipshit.

Just waiting for them to push this for public schools only. After all, only “the poors” would send their kids to public schools.

Well I demand physical punishment for Trump appointees. Let’s start with belts and go from there until they learn to behave.

Nah, belts are not enough for these people, one should overpower them just as much as adults do children. Let them feel the powerlessness of abused children.

As someone who was abused in basically every category, I propose the use of an excavator since it is the closest thing I can think of that gets close.

So they want to legalize child abuse… that’s the goal here folks, let’s not pretend it’s not what they want.

Poor kids are gonna either end up with so many mental scars and have to just live with it since our society is so fucked up that they will probably try to outlaw therapy.

The freaks and weirdos are always up to the crazy ideas.

Just WHY was it that Walz was reeled in on pointing this kind of thing out? The entire conservative movement and the Republican Party is just chock full of weird people.

imo, ‘weird’ wasn’t the correct word, nor was it strong enough. not sure there is even one single word, ‘evil’ is closer but still doesn’t quite get all the way there.

That’s the thing, though: against regular people, it’s the mildest of insults if it’s even an insult at all.

Against fascists, thought, it’s DEVASTATINGLY effective and here’s why:

Fascist movements depend on being absolutely convinced that they’re the only sane and normal ones in a world gone mad because everyone else is an immoral weirdo. That’s how they justify all of their atrocities, and it’s what their entire shared identity is about.

When you point out what weirdos their leaders are, that makes them doubt EVERYTHING about them. After all, in their world view, all weirdos are insane and immoral and all righteous people are normal.

Came here to say this. Having Walz starting to point out just how utterly weird a lot of conservatives and Republicans really are was resonating. Sure, they are also evil, mentally ill, etc., but all that can be gotten to and explained later.

Someone with a large platform, pointing at these people and stating the obvious - that they are just so very weird - works to sway people that might otherwise not be paying much attention, or are only hearing stuff from Bullshit Mountain about how “liberals can’t define what a woman is” and other such soundbites…

You’re all missing the mark. These people are mentally ill — mainly narcissism, psychopathy, and sadism — to the detriment of all of society.

All of their actions and beliefs are symptoms of their extreme mental illness.
