I think that’s a pretty good version, one I share with you. A bit further, a collective consciousness. And having our individual psychological shadows, I also believe in a collective sub/unconscious, or collective karma, or “wyd” as other ancient religions termed it. I also believe addressing our personal shadows benefit the collective. It doesn’t necessarily require a God - belief, although I loosely hold that. If nothing else as light (conscious/addressed/in evolution) and dark (unseen/unacknowledged/unaddressed ID) egrgores, since it’s a word.
