Checking the poll this morning three songs were at equal scores. To break the tie I decided to use the fraction of upvotes with respect to the total number of votes cast the results were:

  • Royel Otis - Heading for the Door (6/(6+3) = 66.67%)
  • Donny Benét- American Dream (7/(7+4) = 63.64%)
  • Kylie Minogue - Padum Padum (8/(8+5) = 61.54%)

    Not that I have a strong opinion on the topic, but didn’t Kylie have the most votes? I wouldn’t have counted down votes for this. I don’t understand how they’re tied.

      I thought that was the whole point of down votes… To push down ones you felt heavily against 🤔

    Nice, that was one of my favs suggested.

    I think its also the closest representation of the music thats popular in Australia right now.
