Former Biden staff have absolutely zero credibility here - if they would cover up and deny one, they would cover up and deny the other.
These are the same types of people and same incentive structure that brought you Diane Feinstein and Gerry Connolly. They were trying to drag his warm body over the finish line just in time for him to die in office.
They’re claiming they JUST found out about his cancer. It’s already spread from his prostate into his bones. Horse shit. The decline in his already thoroughly compromised faculties around the time of the debate? Where he went from doddering confused fool all the way to a drooling corpse? It was some kind of aggressive cancer treatment, mark my fucking words.

To me, it shows dems had no intention of winning. They could have easily said “Biden has been diagnosed with cancer. He will be finishing his term but with fewer duties.” Or they could have pinned the economy and Palestine on it, saying it impaired his judgement. People would have ate that shit up, bending over backwards for why it’s good, actually, that Biden is sacrificing his own health in duty to the country.
It provides Harris with more support because it doesn’t look like a coup d’etat. She’s legitimately taking over because the president is ill. The primaries can happen earlier and she likely wins because she’s shown “how presidential she can be.” She can debate Trump instead of that disaster we saw where Biden was bragging about how much of a better golfer he is.
But no. They pretended like Biden was completely fine and Weekend at Bernie’s his old dying ass all over for everyone to speculate about. The Dem’s base of ghouls was left feeling like they got betrayed. They waited for shit like George Clooney opeds to force a decision.
I really don’t understand why they decided to push through with a second Biden term, even when he was running the first time he said he’d only be a one term president.
He personally wouldn’t let them. He sidelined Harris and her staff, and constantly assigned her to be the face of the most unpopular issues (like Border Czar lmao) to hurt his own VP, because he knew he was unfit and knew Harris wanted to “steal” his second term from day 1. Hell he picked her because she was a less viable President and less of a threat than a lot of other VP options. He was and is still angry that Hillary hired all his potential campaign people out from under him in 2015. He thinks he deserved to be president and that he was getting the rug pulled out from under him again.
Above all, Biden can’t appear weak. You can’t admit he’s infirm. You can’t use it as a cop out for bad decisions, there were none. He can’t have “fewer duties” or be seen in a wheelchair. No “impaired judgement” or any acknowledgement of his mental state. He’s never been better and his judgement is unimpeachable
These things all take away from his legacy. He was a fighter, a champion of good. Light itself. Any other views will not be tolerated and you will be thrown into the MAGA bin.

Maybe I’m naive but I believe they just found out.
It’s a fast growing type of cancer. He had his last presidential physical in February of last year, so this timing totally lines up with annual physical + “old man refuses to schedule appointment” delay.
This is not to say that they wouldn’t cover it up, just that I think the most obvious explanation this particular time is “they just found out”
Certainly it’s possible, but I think what they just found out is that it came back and metastasized to his bones after they were hoping the last round of chemo took care of it. And I think they’re trying to get ahead of a cascade of CYA’s and Told You Sos that’s ramping up with that book by Jake “The Tapper” Tapper coming out tomorrow
