Not entirely sure what you’re looking for, but there’s reboots of some of those older shows. I haven’t seen them, but Yamato has a bunch of 2010s reboots shows and movies and there was a recent Grendizer reboot.
Honestly, the rough edges are part of the character of these older shows. They were handcrafted in a time where this stuff was not at all easy. There were budget constraints that they had to work with, and it’s kinda cool to see it on the screen. I still love the higher budget 80s and 90s stuff, and some more modern shows with digital production, too. It’s all just different imo
also does anyone currently make anime in that style except not so rough around the edges?
