Disney’s live-action “Snow White” has been banned from playing in movie theaters in Lebanon due to the presence in the film of Israeli actress Gal Gadot, who plays the role of the the Evil Queen.
Those lucky Lebanese have been saved from seeing this movie.
This is going to financially ruin Disney
IBM is going to buy them out. They’ll change every theme park to fit a dull grey corporate office theme.
And the different areas of the park will be changed to the resemble the days of the week and require people to experience them in order. Each area as bleak and grey as the next. The mascot in the first area has the catchphrase “looks like someone has a case of the Mondays”.
Good, but also Disney won’t even notice.
With how badly the film is doing in the West, Disney could have really used those 10 Lebanese customers to boost their ratings.
This seems like an perfect example of a rule that’s too broad. If the jew is playing the hero that’s one thing, but if he’s playing the villain doesn’t that help your cause?
It’s not about a jew playing a villain. It’s an IDF soldier playing a character in the movie.
What. No. A boykott is usually about preventing the opposed party from making money so they change their behaviour.
