      Actually, in Italy you see quite a lot of them, and even non-bikers know them and respect them. I think the decision to remain small-scale (only one factory, most work is manual) means there is few availability outside the country (I’ve heard that in the US is hard to find dealerships, while in italy it’s super easy)

        spec sheet shoppers i think. they go into a shop already knowing torque and horsepower, but there’s no consideration taken into where in the throttle range that power is coming. meanwhile, the moto guzzi configuration is pure character. it’s quirky and weird, but at the same time, the perfect primary balance of the 90° v-twin gives you an extremely manageable ride. they make me grin without me having to bear down on the throttle, much like harley davidsons do. (editorial note, i own a harley, i discourage people from buying them after they caved to easy to our fascist government)
