Contributing to Panoramax means participating in the development of a geo-common, a sovereign, free and reusable digital resource. Each geolocalized photo published on Panoramax can be used by anyone for a variety of purposes, for example by a local authority needing to observe the status of its roads, or by a telecoms operator to prepare an intervention. Each contributor can send their image sequences, modify them and consult them, as well as all the views - 360° or not - contributed by the community. The compulsory blurring of faces and license plates is automated on the platform.

I wish there was a server for North America. Panoramax is a great piece of software and very easy to use.
I should have mentioned this somewhere. The IGN server is France-only but the openstreetmap.fr server can host images from anywhere in the world.
I believe you, as I’ve seen this mentioned in the past, and I myself have uploaded a bit to that server, but is it actually documented anywhere? I’ve seen that question come up in the past and have never been able to give someone an answer they can see themselves.
Best I can find is on the Panoramax page on the OSM Wiki, where it says, “Region: France (and outside for tests).” Under “Notes,” it says, “In the short term, OSM FR can host pictures from the outside of France, but worldwide coverage is not sustainable in the long term, due to storage limits (and costs). Therefore, it is preferred that other local communities set up their own federated instances.”
Thanks! That’s exactly where I never checked. Haha. It’s also why I stopped uploading after I did the most heavily trafficked areas in my county. As of right now, there are no plans for an OSMUS server as far as I know. They are unfortunately working with Mapillary.
